I'm very tempted to start with a clean slate and a new LJ. I've changed a lot in the three years i've had this one and its a bit of a mess. I also want to start clean with record keeping. 

It would negate the filter post below, only in teh sense that i will be putting the same filters back in place. 

It would also let me shift a lot of stuff out of my lj that i'd therwise have to do by hand. 

My only problem is the name. How does anyone else feel about it?

Spicy - er..this is for a very close circle of friends and personal stuff.

writings- my beta'd writings. 
private writings filter - the three poeples in there know about this one since last week.
SCA - what it says on the box. 

These are going to change. 

In future there will be: 

Sweet - everyone. You will be in this. 
Spicy - for personal stuff. Let me know if you want to be in this. Depending on how well I know you I may put you in, I may not. Sorry to be fuzzy. 
private writing filter- that one stays the same. 
Writings - this is going to stay the same and house my fanfic stuff. 

Scribblings-  this is going to change to my filter for the Hissling Tails and Hawks and Doves, the novel i'm looking at writing. Let me know if you want in. 
Therapy - what the title says. This year I plan on working through some of my thoughts on childhood crap I went through. its somethign I need to do. Some of these posts may be locked. I'm not posting these posts for sympahty - I want to work otu the crap that is my subconcious, and that means writing things down as I think better then. Only for people who really want to be in, so to speak. 
Business - for the business i'm plannign on setting up. Interested? i'll be frsutrations, thoughts, concepts and a few deals here.....*Grins*

pay is slightly less than i'd hoped, but i can live with that. Start is 7 jan, and its in dublin in cycling distance, so that is good. Its providing tech solutions to banks ;-)



its in city center, so i may look there for a different place, thought his is quite doable. I'm just not impressed by the mice

Does anyone on my flist have a spare low quality digital camera they are looking to sell?

I need a digital camera to put thumbnails on ebay and small pictures on a website...nothing too high quality, but i'd rather pay a friend than pay a stranger.

I know with the christmas season some of you may or may not get one in your stockings, so if you do and you decide you don't want to keep four spares, think of me?

Am happy to pay for it as I said!

hp and cpl did it again. fuckers.

after offering me a permanent contract verbally (not legally binding in ireland) they now rescinded and cancelled my temporary contract 11 days early though they're paying out 5 working days of that.

And they only told me that today at 10. Lovely.

And that makes me unhappy.

i'm now on evil 7 am shift permanently. And there is an arsehole at work who's just learned that if he's nasty to me, I get nasty back. Not happy on that count.

But had my hospital visit and my eye is considered 'cured', 90% success rate.

So i'm happy about that!

Does anyone know where in dublin i could get bandages inpregnated with plaster of paris?

I know its available in some craft stores, but i'm having trouble finding any.

A grey squirrel had to be rescued from a bird feeder as it had gorged on so many nuts it could not squeeze back out through the bars.
A resident in Christchurch, Dorset alerted the RSPCA after finding it stuck in the peanut-filled feeder.

Inspector Graham Hammond said that the squirrel had "eyes bigger than its stomach" and had lost its figure while feasting in the wire-frame last week.

He said: "This was quite an unusual rescue."

Mr Hammond added: "I think this squirrel had eyes bigger than its stomach but after it had stuffed itself with nuts, it had a stomach too large to escape the feeder - one which ironically, was designed to be squirrel-proof."

He said he managed to free the grey squirrel, which was not hurt, and it ran off immediately.

- I was 8 and hated school. I can't remember most of it but lets just say I'd never put a child through primary school or secondary school. It’s a form of child abuse.

15 Years Ago - I was in the second class of high school and knew I hated french, german and the other kids in my year. I had one sometimes friend and knew exactly who the bullies in that year were.

10 Years Ago I had finished high school, was dating a really great guy, and had helped open the family company

5 Years Ago I had moved to england, bought a house with my brother and was working as a helpdesk analyst for Shell and in the top 3 of my team.

1 Year Ago I was trying to complete my dissertation for my MSc and aiming for a distinction. I got a commendation.

So far this year I have... Got fired, been kicked out of my house, crashed at friends for a prolonged period, played more SCA than any other year, got a new place, and moved 4 times including one time internationally.


Yesterday I was trying to get my modem working and I tried my first bach of kombucha tea

Today I'm still exhausted and trying ot get the modem working

Tomorrow I'll do another three impossible things befor breakfast, as lately the Red Queen's race has nothing on me.

Moved all teh junk to my place. I now have 99% of my junk in one place and my baby snakeling back. That is good. but 2.30 is too late to go to bed when getting up at 6.

now I just need to sort out the mess.

did reiki 2 last weekend and had fun up in belfast, good to see my friends htere again, even the baby (and we all know how much I love babies..i'll make an exception for this one).

got a bike and hope i'm losing weight cycling.

for the rest...sorry I haven't been online and in a surly mood. I will try and catch up as soon as i can.

having thought more and more about it...

im getting more and more upset.

I had waist length hair. I asked for brastrap length.

Now I feel..diminished? I know my wishes were not taken into acount and while it may or may not be a very nice haircut, its not what I asked for dammit!

what gives these women the authority to weild scissors and NOT listen? A strongly worded complaint letter will follow and is swear I'll never set foot in a hairdressers again. Geez, i now understand why so many people don't trust hairdressers.

i want my hair back. All six years of it. Even fi it was heavy. I want it back dammit. I'm not cutting it till it is the same lenght again and i'm not having a 'professional' ever cut it again.

23.20 is too late to get back from room hunting when one has to get up at 5 am.

of course it did't help that i missed the DART (light rail system) and had to wait over 30 minutes. And ended up with a drunk next to me. Harmless, and rather amusing, but i would have preferred my book. Not holding out any high hopes for the rooms i've looked at iether, though a few were nice.

put simply, it doesn't seem to be my choice. It seems to be all in the hands of the landlords/tennants

I don't know any other country where that is the case.
